Kamlesh Rajput founded Sterling Finance in 2001. He was also the Chief Financial officer at Access Systems UK Ltd. Managing Director of Sterling Will Writers Ltd, acting Business Consultant to Dolphin Seminars Ltd, Managing Director of Curry On Business Ltd, Governor at the Ashton Sixth Form College, External Examiner at the University of Wales, Newport, Treasurer at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan-Manchester as well as the President of Gujarati Rajput Samaj, Birmingham, UK.
His career started as an Honorary Lecturer in Banking and Business at the MS University, Baroda, India. In 1986, Kamlesh joined the Banking Sector in the areas of Foreign Exchange and Financing Import Export Trade. During 1986 to 1992, Kamlesh Rajput worked in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

Since 1993, Kamlesh has worked in the corporate sector of software manufacturing and in the textile industry. His import and export expertise helped the business grow faster. In 1997, he became the member of the Board of a software manufacturing start-up business which grew its operations in the UK, Germany, USA, India, Australia and Qatar. He was appointed a Group Finance Executive for a multi-national software manufacturing company.
Having an extensive and very balanced experience in his various activities, he achieved Gold Award for Highest Achievement at Dale Carnegie Institute, Manchester in 1997, for Human relations, and Fast 50 Awards for fastest growing Technology Business (north England) 2000 & 2001, by Royal Bank of Scotland.
In addition, Kamlesh Rajput gained much experience in areas such as: Business Compliance in Accounting and Taxation, Financial Management, Planning & Control, Product Innovation, Implementation & strategic diversification, Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions, Management of Strategic Business Units, Executive Mentoring & Business Management Consultancy, Tax Investigation & tax Planning, Corporate Finance & Business Funding, Venture capital Trust & Business Angel Investment Advice, ISO 9000-2000 Quality Standards systems as well as Financing Import & Export Trade.
Being bilingual, helps him to offer a wider choice of services through being able to communicate in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
Kamlesh Rajput is very much involved in his own business, but always seems to find time to talk to his clients and staff, while maintaining many other interests, actively taking part in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, where he was a President in Manchester for two years, between 2007-2009.
Since 2010, he has been involved with the University of Wales in the capacity of External Examiner for Chartered Accountancy Courses and MSc Courses. Kamlesh has been involved with charity since 2008 and worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, Salford University and Oldham Business School, for their CIMA courses.
In 2011 he founded a non-profit Business network, a monthly meeting that attracts many Business owners.
He is now also a Chapter Director at BNI Stronghold Bury Chapter and has been a host for an Asian Sound Radio and a Teacher at a local Community School in the UK.
In his free time, Kamlesh Rajput loves to play Cricket, read, listen to music and work for a charity, as well as spending time with his relatives and friends. Best of all, he likes to ensure that he learns as much as possible about his clients’ businesses so that he can help them to the best of his ability.
