Identity theft and online fraud is increasing in every avenue of the digital world. Companies’ House is no exception to this and has been the target of several email scams and fraudulent communications to members of its database.
We would like to make you aware of these suspicious emails about company complaints. The emails are being sent from email@example.com and look like the following message.
If you do receive any emails from the email address and looks like the above the image, then please do not open any attachments and send it to the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
It is important that you act immediately and report it to company’s house. Do not disclose any personal information. One thing to remember is companies house will never ask you for your authentication code. This will give you an idea that it is a scam email.
